DESCRIPTION:The Dahlonega Literary Festival is an annual celebration of books.  Book lovers gather once again on Friday and Saturday\,  March 1 and 2\, 2019 for the Dahlonega Literary Festival.  In its 16th year\, and held in historic downtown Dahlonega\, Ga.\, the Festival gets more diverse and entertaining each year.  Events are open to everyone and most are free\, unless otherwise noted\, and include individual presentations\, panel discussions\, workshops\, a Festival Book Store\, book signing and more.\n\nOur Featured Authors are nationally-known and represent a variety of genres.  Additionally\, Regional Writers (from local to other areas of the Southeast and beyond) are on hand to interact with attendees and sell their books.\n\n\n\nThe 2019 Dahlonega Science Festival will be held in collaboration with the Dahlonega Literary Festival.The 2nd Annual Dahlonega Science Festival will take place on the weekend of March 1   3\, 2019.  The festival will feature science-themed events that are open and free to the public.
