DESCRIPTION:Join women of Lumpkin County at the May Inspire Luncheon with guest speaker Lynn Jackson. Every May\, we celebrate the mothers in our lives - the moms\, aunts\, siblings\, and other wonderful women - who nurture our communities. With a lifelong passion as a care giver\, her professional experience has spanned over 35 years and has included a wide variety of clinical and administrative roles.\n\nLynn is a RN with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia and a Masters Degree in Healthcare Policy and Administration from Mercer University in Atlanta. \n\n \n\nDuring her career Lynn has held a number of professional leadership roles including Vice President of Nursing at Georgia Baptist Medical Center.  She currently serves as the Administrator of Northside Hospital Forsyth\, a position she has held for since 2001.  Lynn has led the over 2\,500 member staff of Northside Forsyth through over a decade of unprecedented growth in providing regional health care services and corresponding hospital expansion.\n\n \n\nLynn is very active as a volunteer in the community and has served on over a dozen governing boards for non-profit agencies. She is a 2001 graduate of Leadership Forsyth and served two terms as Chairman of the Leadership Forsyth Board of Directors\, she is the Chairman of the Lanier Technical College Board of Trustees\, Past Chair of the Bald Ridge Lodge Board of Directors\, Past Chair of Mentor Me North GA Board of Directors and she is a member of the Forsyth County Development Authority.  Lynn is the Founding Chair and current board member of the Forsyth County Arts Alliance\, the Past-President and charter member of the Rotary Club of Lanier-Forsyth.  She is a Past Chair and current member of the Executive Committee of the Cumming Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors\, a member of the Board of the Forsyth County Community Foundation and serves as the Chair of the Forsyth County Healthcare Association. In addition\, Lynn serves on the University of North GA Foundation Board\, she is the Chairman of the Board of Visitors for GA Baptist College of Nursing at Mercer University and she serves on the Board for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).\n\n \n\nLynn was named one of the Top 10 "Savvy and Sophisticated Women of the Northside" by Points North Magazine and was honored by the University of North Georgia\, Mike Cottrell School of Business as the 2015 "Inspirational Leader in Business".\n\n \n\nIn her spare time Lynn is a motorcycle enthusiast and active member of the North GA Mountain Riders.  She lives in Cumming with her husband David and they are proud parents of Christopher and Kelly and proud grandparents to Bentley\, Kayden and Kullen.
