She has lectured around the world including Harvard Law School\, International Peace Institute\, University of Oslo\, Instabul Conference and has a TED talk with more than 1.4million views. A winner of the prestigious Derrick Bell Award serves on various boards that address international issues. \n\nAn internationally recognized advocate for cultural and women's rights and an expert on religious extremism. Professor Bennoune is both a consultant and serves and an expert for organizations including UNESCO\, International Council on Human Rights and the African regional summit on countering violent extremism. \n\nThe program is held at UNG\, Dahlonega\, Hoag Auditorium\, Saturday\, August 24\, 2019.
