SUMMARY:Run for Rangers
DESCRIPTION:Run for Rangers is a distance running event and Charity Fundraiser for Ranger Veterans and their families. Of all the military forces\, the Rangers are the most deployed unit in the Global War on Terror.\n\n\n\nCharity Run course is a combination of Road and Trail\, and will have some difficult terrain to challenge the participants. The two courses will be combined in the beginning and then split off.  Both courses will begin downtown in Hancock Park and will finish nearby the Park. The Dahlonega Veterans Day Parade follows 5k/10K run. There will be Country music in the Park all day with food and beverage\, merchandise sales\, beer and wine\, and kids play area all day following the parade. Downtown merchants and restaurants will be open. Enjoy Historic Dahlonega and the surrounding area!\n\n\n	Same day registration cost will increase by 20%.\n	Race day packet pick-up will begin at 7 a.m.\n	Routes will be clearly marked.\n\n\n*Pre-registration strongly requested for planning purposes. Registration fee refundable less $10 for T-shirt (will be mailed to you) with cancellation within 72 hours prior to event. Registration fee fully refundable with cancellation within 7 days prior to event. Walk-up registrants will not be guaranteed a T-shirt for the event.
