Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA)
YMHEA is a national curriculum that covers common signs and symptoms of mental health including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), common signs and symptoms of substance abuse, interaction with children or adolescents in crisis, connecting youth with resources, and expanded content on trauma, substance abuse, self care, and the impact of social media and bullying. The course will teach you how to apply the ALGEE Action Plan. Space is limited to 30 participants so please RSVP if you plan to join us with Brigette Barker at brigette.barker@lumpkinschools.com.
