DESCRIPTION:Looking to run a certified 5k or 10k (Peachtree Qualifier)? Thinking of running your first 5k race?  Love to walk for health?  Are you a seasoned runner looking for an inspirational and challenging race with a beautiful course?  Or\, are you looking for a great cause to support? ConnectAbility has the event for you!  September 8th at 8am in Dahlonega\, there will be a 5k/10k race to benefit ConnectAbility. The race route features the historic downtown square as well as views of Lake Zwerner. All proceeds will help provide special needs respite programs\, parent support groups and more for children and adults with special needs in the north Georgia region through ConnectAbility.\n\nIn spirit with this organization\, everyone will be a winner in this race\, so everyone will get a high quality engraved FINISHER'S MEDAL!  In addition\, there will be special awards for Age-Bracket Winners and the Overall Winners will win HANDMADE POTTERY WINNERS' CUPS made special for this race by Brad Walker Pottery.\n\nSound great?
