SUMMARY:Dahlonega Woman's Club Scarecrow Competition!
DESCRIPTION:The Dahlonega Woman's Club wants to invite everyone to make and display Scarecrows this year\, beginning on August 29th.  Permit your creativity take over and have some fun!  This year's suggested theme is Music / Mountain Music.  Let your imagination skyrocket when visualizing artists\, songs\, instruments\, or whatever innovative depiction comes to mind.  The Scarecrows will be crafted by businesses\, individuals\, schools\, and organizations\, to be spooky\, fun\, and everything in between! Be sure to visit Dahlonega between September 1st and 23rd to discover your own personal favorite scarecrow at one of Dahlonega's favorite seasonal events and then vote online to let your favorite choice be known!  As always\, all profits from this event will be donated to the Lumpkin County Library! \n\nThere will be two (2) competition categories this year:  (1) School classes K-12/youth organizations and (2) Everyone Else.  An overall People's Choice award will be determined via online voting at:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/scarecrows. \n\nSeparate recognition will be given to School K-12/youth organizations though they will still be in the running for Overall winner as well!\n\n                    DETAILS:\n\nScarecrow Applications should be submitted to: Dahlonega Woman's Club\, PO Box 772\, Dahlonega\, GA 30533 between August 1 and August 15.\n\n     Application fee is $35.00 (check or       money order)   Schools K-12 and         youth organizations are free.\n\nScarecrows may be set up beginning Aug 29 and must be completed no later than 6PM on Aug 31.
