DESCRIPTION:All Proceeds of First Night Dahlonega support Jeremiah's Place\, Lumpkin County's only transitional housing  facility for the homeless.\n\n\nFirst Night Dahlonega is a celebration of the new year through the performing arts.  St Luke Catholic Church\, Dahlonega Baptist Church\, The Dahlonega Market Place and Dahlonega United Methodist Church will be turned into performance venues to showcase local and regional talent.\n\nFor a $10.00 fee adults (children 12 and under and active duty military are free) have access to all the entertainment all evening!  We celebrate the dawning of the new year at midnight with The Nugget Drop in the town square. Note: A children's drop will be held at  9:00PM.\n\nIt's all great fun\, affordable\, safe and venues are alcohol free.  Make your plans now to join us for the first First Night Dahlonega on December 31st.  \n\nAll proceeds will benefit Jeremiah's Place which provides Transitional Housing for the Homeless
