"Pap" Brewer (Gary's Grandfather) performed frequently on the radio (in Knoxville) and\, as a youngster\, appeared on several shows with the original Carter Family\, playing the music that formed the foundation of Traditional Bluegrass Music in later years. Today\, Gary Brewer and the Kentucky Ramblers enjoy touring spreading their musical style that appeals to various audiences.
