DESCRIPTION:We are UNG Nighthawk Engagement and Student Engagement (NEST)\, a department committed to serving our student veterans. At UNG\, we honor men and women who have served or currently serving in the United States Armed Forces every day. It has become UNG's tradition to publically commemorate their service by hosting a National Roll Call event on Veterans Day on the Gainesville campus.\n\nThis year\, we are going to host this event virtually via Facebook Live (https://www.facebook.com/UNGVALP) on November 11\, 2020\, from 1 pm   5 pm. We invite you to join us in honoring and remembering those who hold a special place in your heart.\n\n\n\nThere are two ways to recognize your loved one's sacrificial service.\n\n\n\n1. We ask all who can\, please submit a Thank You video or note for our Veterans. If you would like to submit a video\, please keep it under 30 seconds. The video can be yourself\, your department\, family\, etc. Not comfortable video tapping yourself\, that's ok. You can write a Thank You note to veterans\, and we will upload it to our presentation.
