50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing at UNG
The UNG Department of Physics and Astronomy and the UNG Coleman Planetarium present a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing on Saturday, July 20, 2019.
1. Hands-on kids’ activities and solar observing from 5:30 – 7:30 pm
2. The Birth of Planet Earth planetarium show at 6:30 and 8:30 pm
3. Talk by NASA aerospace engineer Sabrina Thompson at 7:30 pm
4. Night sky observing at 9:30 pm
