American Sign Language I
This seven-week course will provide students with an introduction to American Sign Language. Students will learn elementary vocabulary signs along with grammar/word order. Basic forms of communication skills, along with various cues used when signing will also be covered, including directionality, classifiers, and the use of facial/body expressions. Lastly, students will learn about the Deaf culture and how it developed over history.
