The newly forming Gold City Lions Club offers those with servant hearts the opportunity to serve Dahlonega and Lumpkin County whenever and wherever there is a need.  We serve several local non-profits with volunteers to do eye screenings for elementary school children.  We serve the Dahlonega and Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce members when they need volunteers with parking, ticket sales, and vending when they have events.  If anyone needs eye exams, eye glasses, or eye surgeries, and they cannot afford it, we will provide them with financial help so that they can have better vision.  We help place veterans markers on holidays with military histories.  Do you have a need for volunteers to help deliver meals to seniors, or sell hotdogs at kids ball games?  Our motto as Lions in simply: WE SERVE.
