HemlockFest
HemlockFest, hosted by the Lumpkin Coalition, is an annual festival held the first full weekend in November. The Festival and the proceeds from the festival are used to increase public awareness of Eastern and Carolina hemlock tree problems and to provide financial support for Area Colleges and Universities in their efforts to save the Hemlocks.
HemlockFest will feature 19 bands and entertainers providing almost 30 hours of great music, plus food and beverage, natural crafts vendors, interactive presentations and exhibits, and lots of activities (including a Kid’s Nature Village).
HemlockFest is continuing its promotion of quality art and crafts booths! This year's festival will feature over 30 juried booths with all handmade or homegrown work made by the crafts-person who is in the booth to sell it. Buy your holiday gifts with local artists including painting, jewelry, pottery, natural skin care, batik clothing, crochet, plants, baked goods, woodworking, candles, metal working, upcycling, fiber arts, service booths and more!
Make your plans now and join us for 3 days of fun and music--Tickets on sale now at www.HemlockFest.org.
