Knitting - Knit a pair of Socks
Knitting - Socks Got cold toes? Join us to learn to make your own knit socks, and never have cold toes again. In three class sessions and work at home, leave with a pair of toasty socks. Part 1: Getting Started Cast on and start knitting the cuff of your socks. Continue knitting at home for two weeks and stop before starting the heel. Part 2: Turn the Heel Learn how to turn the heel. Then continue knitting at home for two weeks and stop 2 inches from the toe. Part 3: Toes! Learn how to decrease the toe and sew up the seam with a Kirchner stitch. Knit your second sock at home and wear them with joy! Notes: 1.) Students must know how to knit and purl. 2.)
