The Wilson Project
The Wilson Project is an anthology play of monologues and scenes from the work of legendary African-American playwright, August Wilson. Individually heart-rending, impassioned, and sometimes hilarious, each piece is selected from Wilson's ground-breaking American Century Cycle of plays about the African-American experience in every decade from the 1900 through 2000. Notably featured are scenes from the Pulitzer Prize winning dramas Fences and The Piano Lesson. Join GTA's Discovery Series as we honor the life and work of one of the greatest playwrights of all time. Rated PG-15 for some adult language and content. Free and open to the public.
