"Types of Dementia, Treatments, and Practical Tips for Providing Care" - FREE Community Lunch & Learn
Chestatee Regional Hospital is pleased to offer a quarterly Lunch & Learn Health Education Series, featuring a different medical professional presenter each month, focusing on important healthcare topics.
Our first Lunch & Learn will be "Types of Dementia, Treatments, and Practical Tips for Providing Care," presented by John McMillon. John is the Program Director for Changing Seasons and Life Cycles and has 30 years of mental health experience. In this seminar, he will be discussing the most common types of dementia and the treatment and prognosis for each. He will also offer practical tips for caring for an individual with dementia.
These seminars are FREE and held in the Chestatee Regional Hospital Board Room (3rd Floor) from 12pm-1pm. Boxed lunches will be provided. Spaces are very limited, so registration is required. (Register online at chestateerh.com or call 706-867-4367 to reserve your seat by Wednesday, March 16th at noon.)
