W.I.L.L. November Meeting: WOMEN IN THE MILITARY - Past, Present, and Future
Join us on Veteran's Day for this insightful panel discussion on Women in the Military, Past, Present, and Future! The panelists will be discussing why they chose to go into the military and will be taking questions from the attendees.

- 2nd Lt. Judy Woody, a veteran of WWII. She served in the Army as a nurse in the China/Burma/India theater, and at a military hospital in Carachi, India.
- 1st Lt. Rebecca Shirley – joined the Army reserves in 2012 and now serves as a Platoon Leader in a Combat Engineering/Route Clearance Company. She is employed by the city of Dahlonega and is now Project Manager handling the city’s marketing and special events and economic development projects.
- Cadet Major Jessica Kittell – Will graduate from UNG in August with a BSN degree. She has been in the Georgia Army National Guard for three years and trained as a Combat Medic.
A light, breakfast will be provided at 8 am with the program starting at 8:30 am.
