We are reaching out to share an opportunity to partner with Northeast Georgia Health System through Georgia’s Rural Hospital Tax Credit (RHTC) program.
 
The RHTC program is a simple and impactful way for businesses and individuals to direct their Georgia state tax dollars back into the communities we serve. Contributions provide a 100% dollar-for-dollar state income tax credit while directly supporting our two rural hospitals—NGMC Habersham and NGMC Lumpkin—which together are eligible to receive up to $8 million annually through this program.
Thanks to RHTC participation last year, meaningful improvements were made at both hospitals.
 
At NGMC Habersham, upgrades included renovated ultrasound rooms, enhanced security measures, and improved telemetry monitors and bed alarms—improving safety and comfort for patients, visitors, and staff.
 
At NGMC Lumpkin, an expanded Emergency Department and retrofitted PACU bays have allowed more patients to receive the care they need closer to home. These advancements are only possible through community investments and partnerships with organizations like yours.
