Authors in the Afternoon at the Library!
In partnership with the Friends of Lumpkin County Library, the library will be hosting the next in the series, “Authors in the Afternoon.”
This is a free series of presentations by local authors who will be on hand at the library to talk about their writing. The author gives a presentation followed by a Q & A session. Books may also be signed or purchased from the author as well. Please join us for the next event in this series, on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 3:00 p.m.
Dr. Douglas Young will be our guest for the April event and will be talking about his books,
"Deep in the Forest" and "Due South."
Following the author presentation, the public is invited to enjoy some light refreshments and attend the quarterly meeting of the Friends of the Lumpkin County Library. This is a good time to learn about all that the Friends do to help support our library and this year's theme of Friends Helping Friends.
