Roots in the Round, multi-songwriter feature LIVE at Canopy + the Roots

March is Women's History Month and we will be doing a special Queendom Edition of our Roots in the Round series. Join us on Saturday, March 8th (fittingly International Women's Day) as Erinn Driscoll, Gabriella Delliponti, and Jesse Williams will be coming together and sharing their stories & journeys behind their songs while celebrating Feminenergy & Sisterhood on our intimate space. Doors at 7:00pm. Show at 7:30pm.

Erinn Driscoll

Erinn Driscoll is a multifaceted performer who has been playing live music since 2021 in and around the metro Atlanta area. She performs at many types of venues including coffee houses, vineyards, and theaters. She grew up in a musical household, her parents having met in a band and gigged throughout her childhood. She is a full time musical theatre student at Brenau University. Erinn is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who released her first song, "November", on all streaming platforms in the autumn of 2023. Here's to a lovely evening, and enjoy the show!

Gabriella Delliponti

Referred by her friends as an “off-brand Dua Lipa in a trucker hat,” Delliponti is doing her best to bring a fresh and dynamic pop sound to an indie town saturated by jam bands. Inspired by icons like Chelsea Cutler, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter, Delliponti’s sound is full of catchy hooks, funky bass lines, and heart-felt lyricism. Backed by an all-star band made up of Jameson Tank on the drums, Terry Cheek on guitar, Cole Johnson on bass, and Conner Ankerich on the keys, Delliponti’s sets are a mix of covers, catchy originals, and, if you’re lucky, the occasional acoustic solo. Originally from New York, Delliponti has played around Athens for the past 4 years, and headlined/played at iconic venues such as the Georgia Theatre and 40 Watt with her various projects. Jesse Williams

Singer/songwriter/guitarist, Jesse Williams, is a mountain mama with grounded in Blues & Soul. Hailing from North Georgia with the deep belief that it's best savored when simmered. Her melody medicine is an invitation of sultry vocals and earthy lyrics that explore Life's many winding paths. These serenades are supported with guitar grooves and rhythms that play within the feeling of the Music. Honoring and offering the raw essence of Spirit as it moves listeners within.
