UNG Peaks - "Dancing from the Inside Out"
PEAKS - Personal Enrichment, Action and Knowledge Series. Collaborative program with the UNG Institute for Healthy Aging, Center for Appalachian Studies, and UNG Blue Ridge Campus.
UNG's Institute for Healthy Aging, College of Education's Appalachian Studies Center and the Blue Ridge Campus created PEAKS, which is a monthly program of engaging and seasonally connected presentations designed to meet the needs of the region's rapidly growing older adult community.
Dr. Westina Matthews will be the first Guest Speaker. Through thoughtful, poignant, humorous, and authentic reflections - shared from her journal and weekly email blogs- Matthews invites the readers to redefine themselves. Dancing from the Inside Out offers grace and insight as we face a more mature future.
