About Us

Red Oak Lavender Farm is a beautiful, working farm located about an hour and a half North of Atlanta in Dahlonega, Georgia and offers visitors an undeniably unique farm experience. Red Oak Lavender Farm is one of the largest public lavender farms in North Georgia. Nestled in the beautiful mountains amongst the wineries and vineyards, lavender seemed the perfect crop to grow for Tina and David Duffey. We grow about 4,000 lavender plants of over twenty-one different varieties of lavender from the culinary varieties to the popular large blooming Intermedia lavenders with its long stems and strong aroma. We have a beautiful gazebo to sit in and view the fields as well as a wild flower garden with over 2000+ planted Dahlias to see. In Georgia it is very difficult to grow lavender due to our acidic clay soil and our humidity so we are excited to share our miracle lavender farm. We also raise our own bees right here in our lavender field for the highest quality lavender honey made by the bees! The essence of Red Oak Lavender Farm is an escape from the every day, to a place unlike anywhere else. When you visit you will get a genuine glimpse of what it takes to operate a lavender farm. In our farm store you will find our own lavender essential oil, lavender products, as well as cut flowers for bouquets such as Dahlias, Zinnias, white tulips, and more and more.
