About Us

The Vineyard
Our 25 acre Vineyard estate is home to plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Mourvedre, and Touriga Nacional. This mountain top estate was selected after an extensive search. We focused on finding the best site in which red wine grapes could be grown, instead of looking at the number of vines we could plant. Wolf Mountain has 5000 vines planted by hand which are divided into small vineyard lots. The property runs due east to west with south facing slopes. This maximizes sun exposure to vines and clusters, producing the ripest fruit possible. Our 1800 foot elevation provides sun soaked days and cool mountain nights, creating the perfect grape growing environment. After all, wine is really made in the vineyard.

The Lodge
The beautiful Winery at Wolf Mountain is fashioned after a raised, Craftsman-Style cottage and sits atop the cellar which is encased in fieldstone and houses a presentation of early wine-making artifacts. The Lodge represents our hospitality facility for private events and special activities. Currently, no overnight accommodations are available.

Views of Mountain beauty
Situated atop a mountain ridge and surrounded by vineyards, The Winery at Wolf Mountain commands a spectacular view of the rolling foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.

Old world rustic decor
The decor at Wolf Mountain takes you back to the early French wine country. European antiques from the 17th and 18th centuries have been collected and are displayed throughout the winery.
