Friends of Lumpkin County Shelter Animals presents the first annual RUN FOR THE RESCUES! A fun 5K for the entire family-two and four-legged- to benefit the needy animals at the Lumpkin County Animal Shelter!

As CHP has spoken about on their Facebook page, we are aware of SNAP and EBT programs being cut as of November 1st. In response to this change, we are preparing for a greatly increased need for food as families and individuals navigate this support gap. We are partnering with the Dahlonega Walmart to accept food donations from the 31st through the 14th, and hope that
