Finally, one place to find out what's happening in Dahlonega

The Dahlonega List puts live music, trivia nights, markets and festivals on one free calendar, and posting your event costs nothing.

DAHLONEGA, Ga. — Ever hear about a great event the day after it happened? The Dahlonega List is here to fix that. The free local calendar at thedahlonegalist.com gathers what's going on around Dahlonega and Lumpkin County into one place, so nobody has to dig through a pile of websites and Facebook pages to plan a Tuesday night.

The site opened on September 18, 2026. You'll find live music, trivia and karaoke, theater, markets, festivals, classes, club meetings, things to do with the kids and plenty that's free. Browse by what you're in the mood for or by when you're free: today, this week or the weekend coming.

Hosting something? Put it on the list. Posting an event is free for any business, nonprofit, church, club or venue. Create a free account at thedahlonegalist.com/submit-an-event, then post, edit or repeat your events any time. A real person reads every submission before it goes live, so the calendar stays worth reading.

"There's more going on in Dahlonega on a Tuesday than people realize," said founder Katherine Rasch, who lives in Dahlonega. "Trivia nights, library programs, live music and so much more. I wanted one place where all of it shows up. If it's open to the public, it belongs on the list."

Would you rather have the week come to you? The Weekly List lands in your inbox every Monday morning with everything happening Monday through Sunday. Cleaning out the garage? Yard sales are free to post, and they go out in the Garage & Yard Sales email on Thursday afternoons, just in time for the weekend.

Local businesses get a home on the site too. The Business List is a directory of the independent shops, restaurants and services that make Dahlonega what it is. Each listing has its own page with hours, photos, contact information and a map pin, plus any events the business posts. The first year is $39 for businesses that join by November 30, 2026, and $99 a year after that. Promoting a single event starts at $7, and paid placements are always labeled.
