Scarecrows are coming back to Dahlonega in a big way this fall with Scares on the Square! Community members, businesses, and organizations are invited to register to design a scarecrow to be displayed in Hancock Park during the month of October! Registration is open now until Friday, September 20th with an entry fee of $35. Proceeds will go to the Downtown Development Authority to support the wonderful activities they put on for our community throughout the year. Prizes will also be awarded for Best Traditional Scarecrow, Funniest, Most Creative Use of Materials, and more!
