The Six Gap ride wouldn’t be on it's 38th year without the incredible volunteers who show up year after year to make it happen!

There are lots of ways to get involved, whether you’re helping at a rest stop, directing riders, assisting with registration, handing out water, cheering riders up a tough climb, or helping behind the scenes with prep work. No matter the role, every volunteer makes a difference.

For many of our volunteers, Six Gap has become a tradition of its own—a chance to spend a fun day outside, see old friends, meet new people, and be part of one of Dahlonega’s biggest annual events. And if you’ve volunteered before, you already know what makes this day special: the people. Our volunteer base is one of the best around, and we’d love to add a few more smiling faces to the team.
