We want to make you aware of an Upcoming need in our community. As CHP has spoken about on their Facebook page, we are aware of SNAP and EBT programs being cut as of November 1st. In response to this change, we are preparing for a greatly increased need for food as families and individuals navigate this support gap. We are partnering with the Dahlonega Walmart to accept food donations from the 31st through the 14th, and hope that this gives people a practical and accessible way to contribute to the solution of this need in our community.
