About Us

The North Georgia Chamber Symphony, Inc. is a non-profit organization, based in Dahlonega. . Membership is open to all string players in the area, by audition. We perform concerts in the spring and fall,, supplementing our group with professional musicians from all over the southeast. We perform regularly in Blairsville, Dahlonega, Gainesville and other locations.

North Georgia Chamber Symphony Concerts-April 2022
Please mark your calendars and make plans to come and enjoy one of our April Concerts. We are playing in Gainesville, Saturday April 9th at 7:30 pm, Young Harris, Sunday April 10th at 3 pm, and in Waleska, Monday April 11th at 7:30 pm.
Our featured performer is Dr. Alex Wasserman, who will play Frederic Chopin’s Piano Concerto No 1 in E minor with the orchestra. Dr. Wasserman is Assistant Professor of Music at Reinhardt University School of Performing Arts and is the Artistic Director of the Reinhardt Piano Festival and Academy.

We are opening with Dances of Transylvania, by Bela Bartok and the Holberg Suite (in Olden Time) by Edvard Grieg. Both are lively pieces with great tunes.

All concerts are free, open to the public, with easy access and free parking.
